DIY sunburst mirror

I love the look of sunburst mirrors, but not the price. So, when I found a tutorial on Centsational Girl for a paintstick sunburst mirror, and actually liked how it looked, I was sold. At first I was perplexed about getting the paint sticks. I don't buy paint often, so should I try to purchase them, or just go up there and ask for 50? I ended up asking if I could purchase paint sticks, but because they are free, they just asked me how many I wanted with a little raised eyebrow when I said 50.
It was easy and inexpensive, and was my first real follow-a-tutorial-DIY-project. I realized that projects take a lot longer then they appear online, and you have to problem solve along the way because nothing turns out exactly the same. All in all it was fun and I love the look. I can't wait to have pretty blinds and curtains framing that mirror!
I am having troucle embedding the link to CG's tutorial, so here it is: http://www.centsationalgirl.com/2011/04/diy-paint-stick-sunburst-mirror/

I was wondering where you got that mirror! Great job on making it yourself! I need to be more crafty. I am so lazy and would so much rather just pay someone to do it.
I can't wait to see your other crafts!
